How long did it take you to reach shoulder length starting from a true twa?

It took me a little less than a year. About 6-9 months

When you say "true" twa what do you mean?? Are you talking shaved head or 2-4" inches of hair

What are these ladies using on their hair? Miracle GRO? Her hair is beautiful! Please tell me your tips please!

I went from a baldie to touching shoulder in about 12-13 months. Not full SL though.

Just seeing and hearing about all of your progress has truly been an inspiration. You all should be proud of the HHJ's you each traveled. I commend each and everyone of you.:grouphug3:

still waiting. my progress in my siggy.
I cant wait for that shoulder length bigness.

I started with a TWA in June 2008 and was shoulder length or past in 6 mos, or by Christmas 2008.

I think to get to a FULL BLUNT sl would take like 2 years.

That's 12 inches of growth at the average 6 inches per year.

8 months to sl but I have bangs so its not blunt. the rest of the months have been spent hovering in the same spot.

OP, are you talking about stretched or unstretched?
I bced last week after a 14month transition (4-5inches) and I should hit shoulder length in the back by the end of the year. It's full neck length now. I don't think my hair will ever be sl unstretched (4a/b)...

I'd say 1.5 to 2 years for full SL. The back may be at SL in year depending on how much hair you had when you BCed.

Yes, i was referring to when it's stretched :yep:

This question came at a time when I was thinking of doing a bc.

I'm already at approaching nape and I started at about 2-2 1/2 inches of NG. Before I put these twists in, I was about 5-6 months post b.c. and chin-length. I've noticed that the kinkier textures are saying it took them longer, but I think their growth was maybe a bit less noticeable because the hair is unstretched. It should take about a year to get to full shoulder length.

Great question! I've been wondering this myself especially since I had a little set back from a scissor happy Barber.

I started with 1 inch and it took me about one year to reach SL. It could have been sooner, but I kept getting drastic trims. I got a trim to reduce the bulk and two to get rid of splits.

WOW to all the ladies that reached true SL in less than 2yrs from a true TWA!
I start at about an inche and I am at 1.5yrs and only grazing SL:perplexed

What are you all doing?

SPILL!!!!!!!!!!!!
