I am fine haired girl and have found a nice combo. I love the conditioner which strengthens and the dew add moisture. You can't beat that.

Thanks Pebbles for reccing these products!

Hi Vevster,

I am beside myself with joy that you like the products! /images/graemlins/grin.gif I love them and they have become a permanent part of my hair care regime. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I wanted to try her product also, I was a little skeptical about it but I think I would like to try it. Question does it may your hair stiff and dry? /images/graemlins/confused.gif

I would not be raving about a product that leaves my hair stiff and dry. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Let me retract that silly question..I guess I will see have to see for myself if I decide to try it..I'm glad it worked so well for you /images/graemlins/crazy.gif.

Hi Kimmil129,

The UBH conditioner by Cathy Howes is one of my favorites. It gives the scalp a nice tingling sensation which I really love. It does not give my hair enough slip, but it gives a lot of strength. /images/graemlins/smile.gif HTH

Did you buy her conditioner or did you mix it yourself?

I make the conditioner and I love it, however I have never tried the Dew. Maybe I will give it a try...what's the best thing about the Dew? What makes it stand out from other moisturizers?

I know my computer at home is not operational at this time. So they will be coming soon I am in the process of getting another real soon.

Tebby would you mind sharing your tips and ingredients on making a conditioner.

BTW what is your hair natural or relaxed, crave a lot of moisture etc? The reason I ask is to guess if the conditioner you use for your hair type would be worth making for mine.

Thanks in advance.

For my fine hair I thought the Aveda pomade is the lightest but NO this is the lightest. It is liquid, as opposed to the Aveda which is a gel. I just love it!

You have me convinced! I am def buying the Cathy Howse products, I have been putting it off for the longest time but I am about to go and splurge! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Pebbles, you're going to break me! *laughing* I hope that I like the Dew and Conditioner as well. I also hope that I'm not scrounging for something to add additional moisture. My hair is more on the fine side, than thick.

I wonder if that great "tingling" sensation is any different from the one I get when I sprinkle a bit of peppermint oil on my scalp.....? Has anyone ever done this? My husband is addicted to this!

I should be getting them any day now

Mine came quickly...quicker than I expected. Cedarvale is another story ....

Hi Vevster,

I'm glad that you found a product that is working for you. I liked Howse methods for hair care but was not impressed with the ingredients of her products. However, a product that works is worth its weight in gold. I do like to experiment with commercial and other recipes and find that her dew sounds a lot like braid spray or infusuim 23 leave in. Please keep us posted with your results /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Peace and Blessings and continued hair growth!

I'm at work right now, so I will post the recipe when I get to my home computer. But anyway, when I started using the conditioner I was more than half natural...I was transitioning but refused to cut-off my relaxed hair. I went about two years without a relaxer and the conditioner worked well on my relaxed and unrelaxed hair.

My hair is on the dry side and this conditioner has really helped out a lot. It was also good at detangling the virgin hair. I don't know about buying it, but making it was great!! Like I said, I will post the recipe for you when I get home.

I am also intrested in making the conditioner I've been hearing a lot of raves and I need a good deep conditioner!
I've learned so much about hair on this site I feel as if I could open a salon.
Peace and Blessings

Thanx Vevster,

That response was so fast, it was almost like this was a chat room! I;m finding myself in this forum more and more it is addictive /images/graemlins/wink.gif
Peace and Blessings

Hi Vester,

It's great that you like Cathy's products. I too thought her conditioner was good and when I was relaxed I noticed less breakage with each use. I thought the dew seemed to make my hair tangled though. It just goes to show how products work differently for each person.
