I've heard good reviews on the Chi. Anyone heard of this?

yes my hairstylist uses it and it makes your hair so straight with lots of body

It's good iron. Expensive. For personal use I chose a Curlmaster product. It get the job done like a Chi. It's durable and heats effectively. I think flat ironing the hair is 70% technique though.

There are better ones in that price range IMHO.... Check out folica.com for reviews.

I use a Helen of Troy (I think) that I got from Sally's for about $40. It's good, better than the cheap Walmart ones but not as good as the $100 ones. I believe with flat irons you really do get what you pay for. HTH!

I bought this one for 45 bucks off of ebay...I just couldn't bring myself to invest a lot, especially when I so rarely flat iron. The Belissima retails originally for 149.00...so I feel good about my purchase.

I just purchased the Jilbere blow dryer, flat iron and curling iron yesterday at Sallys'. I paid $105.00 for all three. I love Jilbere products for their quality and price.

I used the flat iron last night and I really like how it glided through my hair.
Cant wait to try the curling iron.
