Flat Ironing without Silicones

HoneyDew tried a heat protectant without silicones, can't think of the name. I hope she comes in here to help.

Girl, I was seriously mislead. I got that stuff had amodimethicone and dimethicone in it!

During that time, though I researched a couple of products that were cone free. I did not use them, though. I gave that search up and decided to just keep on doing what I had been doing all alone - if it ain't broke...

Anyway, those products were: GHD Polishing Serum and AVON mark. Salon Straight Anti-Frizz Serum. They have no cones, but I don't trust that all products labeled as a serum can really protect from heat.

I will stick with my Redken Heat Glide.

I don't flatiron that often, but when I have, I have used BBD Stretch or Ojon's hair treatment, just a dab.

I don't know if your lookin for a product that can be bought in a store and something that is ordered but Blended Beauty has a heat protectant that is supposed to be all natural w/no silicones. She also has a serum that is supposed to help your hair stay straight longer after it is straightened. I sometimes flat iron w/ Beyond The Zone heat protectant and I don't think it has cones. Most of the ingred's I don't know what they are but I don't see anything with a cone on the end.
