Hey everyone!
After years of not cutting, I decided to chop off many inches of thinning hair from the bottom (yesterday!!). It looks and feels healthier already.
I want to grow it out "healthily", but I am feeling a bit "lost". I used to take biotin and use tea-tree oil or olive oil on my tips to help facilitate growth. That was YEARS ago. I currently just keep my hair conditioned using Aussie moist every morning. That seems to help with length maintenance, but do nothing else aside from that. I have NEVER permed or relaxed/texturized my hair, but I do flat iron from time to time! ?
I would love some advice (product recs?!) on how to keep my hair moisturized and protected. I can't find ANYBODY with hair similar to mine. It is very coarse, dry and thick, and the curls are loose-ish. My hair has a bunch of different curl patterns in different areas, which makes it difficult at times!
Last thing... the hair at the very front near my face is always a lot fuzzier and less defined than the rest of my hair. Is that normal?
pics below pre / post chop, if it helps!
