So I got my order the day after xmas and the first thing I did was smell the products since SO many people talked about the smell. Yeah, they do smell great. Then at night during my nightly routine of oiling my scalp I put some of the whipped cream on my new growth as some of you might remember I'm transitioning.

I have very dry, coarse, thick 4a hair and after putting the whipped cream on the new growth all I can say is OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lick::drunk: Talk about softening the new growth not to mention the old relaxed hair. I'm still adding a little shea butter to my hair b/c...well....old habits die hard. Anyway, tonight my hair is SOOOOOO soft :lick: and even though there's shea butter in there I contribute the wonderful softness to the Hairveda b/c with just shea my hair was not this soft esp. my new growth.

Needless to say, come Friday I'm ordering a few more bottles of the whipped cream. With hard new growth like mine I can't afford to be out of this stuff. I just hope I don't have to wait a whole month again. :ohwell::perplexed

I got my WC like a couple of days b4 xmas and I had my friend and my mom smelling it.

My last relaxer was in April 2008 so I guess that would be about 32 weeks. Trust me, I know about the fighting part. This is why I didn't dare comb through on dry hair....ONLY in the shower but with this whipped cream I can actually comb through without getting a comb full of hair.

^^32 Weeks?!!!

Whats your hair type? I'm just 10 weeks and its getting rough.

How do u control your hair? I already broke 2 hair clips trying to brush it back.

Well, I'm definitely a type 4 and I'm pretty sure it's an A b/c there are tiny curls. The only time I actually do anything with my hair is in the shower with TONS of conditioner to detangle. When I get out of the shower I let it dry a little and start oiling the scalp. I moisture the hair, pull it back in a baby bun and call it a night. I work from home so I don't need to worry about "office" hair. As for going other places I feel if someone doesn't like my hair they can look at someone else's.

By the way, I've broken combs before trying to comb my hair so don't feel bad.

Got my hairveda today, yeah I co-sign the smell is awesome! Not sure when I will get to indulge, I am on my way to sleep I have to work the next two nights before the holiday, so it may not be until Wednesday. No biggie. It really did not take that long for my order to get to me, I ordered after the big Friday sale. I am very impressed with all of it. I hope my hair likes it, I would love to become a continued supporter of hers.

You lucky you get to work at home. I found it hard to make myself presentable to go to work with kinky/bone straight hair. I got a flat iron and i know how to use it and use heat protectants but i'm still scared of heat. Scared i'll wash my hair one day and it wont curl up.

I CANNOT air dry or do wash n go's with 2 textured hair. Tried. Epic fail.

And the longer i stretch, the more Hairveda oils i use cause my napps are sucking it up!
