Well I punked out and relaxed my hair last night so I missed my goal of stretching to 20 weeks. By only about 15 days . But stretching has done wonders for my hair, it feels and looks thicker and it's much easy to measure how much growth I've gotten. I got and kept almost four inches! The only thing bad about it is this time it turned out B-O-N-E straight and I don't like that, I prefer a little texture to my hair. Phyto don't play. Ignore the drunken camera angle and my ***** patriotic hand towels please. :spinning:

Anyhoo that's what I'm workin' with and after I test my MT on my scalp tomorrow I think I'll officially join the challenge and get serious about getting to my goal of WL.

Your hair looks really nice. With a lot of body and thickness.

Your hair looks like a hair fall! I'm aiming for long curls like that. Congrats on your stretch...can't wait to see how long your hair gets

I love your hair, it's very pretty and long.

Very pretty hair, I love it. I too also noticed thicker hair after my last stretch 13 weeks.

Thank you ladies I appreciate it. All these luscious heads of hair on this board definitely make me want to keep up my routine. A hairfall! Now that's a compliment. :p Thank you joyfuljoy.

Doesn't it, though??? So pretty!!

Congrats on such a long stretch! 4 inches is great!

Congratulations. :yep: Your hair is lovely. And that was a loooong stretch. :yep: What did you do to keep the two textures manageable?

Deep conditioned, deep conditioned, and deep conditioned some more with a mixture of oils and my beloved Redken Heavy Cream. :lick: Plus Roux porosity control is a must have when it comes to detangling and I even used it as a leave in a few times. I also wore buns and braidouts most of the time and kept the breakage in check with aphogee 2 minute reconstructor.
