February 24,25,26...What Are YOUR Weekend Hair Care Plans??

I shampooed with Go Moist shampoo then I used Vanilla Silk for 20 minutes with a plastic cap and turbie twist but no dryer. I rinsed and applied a small amount of Mocha Silk Hair Milk. Right now I'm sitting under the dryer with hair hanging down trying to semi-dry it. It's to chilly to air dry completely.

Well I just detangled my hair and have it saturated in coconut oil in preparation of washing it tomorrow with shampoo. Hadn't planned to wash it but I just wanted an excuse to play in my hair today. lol

I bought a water softener last weekend. Yesterday I installed it. Sorry, but I'm proud of doing it myself. Go me! :yay: I've been living with hard water for almost 10 years. What a relief! Now that I FINALLY have soft water I'm having a hair day tomorrow.

- Henna treatment under steamer
- Deep, deep condition under steamer again
- I haven't used heat since Oct but considering a blow out. I need to do a trim.
- And my split ender just delivered so I want to use it tomorrow.

Just got a roller set and protein conditioner because I have colored relaxed hair (red) 2 flat twist on both sides of head and curls which didn't come out the way I wanted,it was suppose to be a rhianna hair style and it looks like a grandma Mohawk :( but about to wrap it to stretch the curls and make it fill out more hopefully it look right for work lol

First wash post relaxer so I will be doing a protein treatment with Nexxus Keraphix.

Since my scalp has been a little itchy, I'll wash first with Keracare Dry Itchy scalp. Then one more lather with AO HSR. DC with either Kerastase Nutri thermique or Keracare Intensive Restorative masque.

From there I will most likely put on some other conditioner and detangle. Detangling shouldn't be that bad 1 week post. I also changed my hairstyle since I think that was causing a lot of my tangling issues.

Unfortunately, I have no choice but to blowdry since my hooded dryer died. New in my HHJ so I don't know how to effectively air dry yet.
That being said, I will probably use my silk elements "stuff"(cant think of the name) to blow dry with. Then moisturize(with either ORS Carrot Oil or the Silken Child) seal with some evoo.

The big issue this week is going to be getting my edges and the front of my hair to lay down and stay put.

Onion pre poo. I washed with a blend of HH, and Kerastase dandruff, second wash with whip my hair, SD WG co wash, Shea what deep treatment under my hooded dryer. Detangled with oyin hair dew, MT on scalp, anoop on scalp, AOHC, sealed with Amla oil. I feel good. :wiggle:

I'll wash out this henna gloss sooner or later ... follow with oil rinse, final ayurvedic tea/acv rinse, dry in celie braids

I rinsed out henna gloss in shower and my hair felt perfect. I did a shikakai/neem oil rinse with joico conditioner to remove henna debris and detangle with HS combs. I skipped the ayurvedic tea/acv mix because hair felt superb. Drying in a braid.

I did a little experiment with my starter locs. I steamed them for a few minutes, then clipped them down to dry.

I'm hoping the stream will lift my cuticles and encourage faster locing.

Yes, I'm impatient.

Washed with Kenra color poo
Deep conditioned with Giovanni's new 2chic Brazilian keratin conditioner
Kbb hair nectar leave in
Roller set
Oil scalp

overnight dc with ayurvedic paste: maka & fenugreek powders; neem, tea tree and coconut oils; and Suave Humectant conditioner.

i'm pre-pooing on dap hair with aubrey's gbp with a plastic cap for about an hour. will wash with giovanni 50/50 and condish with gbp. detangle with db leave-in and shower comb. using gel and doing 15-20 twists with perm rods on the ends for my twistout style.

I had a spa day for my hair today. I:

Clarified with Keracare 1st lather shampoo
Second wash with Keracare Hydrating & Detangling Shampoo
Black tea/caffeine powder rinse
Protein deep condition with Keracare Intense Restorative Masque
Moisture deep condition with AO HSR Conditioner
Used Keracare Leave-In Conditioner
Sealed with JBCO and One & Only Argan Oil

Used 10 minutes of heat under dryer to infuse the argan oil with my hair followed by cool air for another 15 minutes - now my hair is unbelievably soft to the touch and smells absolutely delish:lick:
