by far the worst ever. It was like no conditioner was used at all. I could not detangle and had to use Elasta DPR to fix the mess this condish made.

Qhemet Heavy cream-always good stuff for a variety of uses.

What's wrong with Silicon Mix? I was thinking about getting this after reading some raves.

Personally, I do not like how my hair dries after using Silicon Mix. My ends look a hot mess and my hair feels more coated than well nourished. Maybe its the mineral oil? Its on the fence for me because I find I can use it only if mixed with other conditioners. Here are the ingredients:

Water, Mineral Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Glycerine, Citric Acid, Cetrimonium Chloride, Dimethicone Copolyol, Cyclomethicone, Keratin, Ceramide, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynul Butylcarbamate, Fragrance.

Given I can't understand more than half of whats in this product is a sign I should stay away from it LOL.

But as they say, different strokes for different folks so it might work better for you than for some. HTH

I agree. The silicone mix does make my hair feel coated. I use straight silicone on my hair as a heat protectant, but my hair has to to be clean and free of product. After using the Silicone mix in my regular routine, it was just too much build up on my strands.

Ok, I have not been buying new things much, but I did try one thing

Joico Moisturizer Conditioner - used as a DC and loved the results.

Emergencee.
I used this once or twice but did not "see" any difference. But I was not getting breakage at the time. But on the 3rd time, I did have some breakage and Emergencee (used like Aphogee) hooked me up this time. It is a KEEPER!!

MISS:
Recent Crema Negra from Sickbay. I always use this stuff and my last batch was not the same as normal. The smell and the results were different. I think the formula was changed or something. I will not repurchase.

I found it locally here in San Diego, at an Indian Market. It's the 150 ml size, $2.99. I've been there oftenin recent months and this was the first time I've seen it, I tried it on a whim...it's a DEFinite keeper!! My mom likes it too, sadly...there went my extra bottle.

If you can't find it, I can always send you some.
