Fate or Coincidence???

So here's the story.

There's this guy I've know for a few years who has been trying to get me to go out with him and I just haven't been that interested. A few years ago I moved to another city in California and on the rare occassions that I go back to my old Cali city I've run into him twice at odd places I didn't usually go to when I lived there.

So right now I'm in another country for business and I'm sitting in the lobby of my hotel when who should come strolling up to me but this guy! Turns out he's from this country and just happened to be making a trip back home at the same time as my trip.

We went out for a drink, a couple of nights ago but honestly, there are still no real sparks. Some of my girls are saying the universe is trying to tell me something and I need to rethink my lack of interest....curious to know what LHCF'ers think.

(P.S. another weird coincidence....so when we met for drinks he brought along this friend of his who immediately recognized me...turns out I had sat next to this guy on a plane 7 years ago and after a long conversation tried to hook him up with a friend of mine! What are the odds of that?)

This world is too small. lol. I think you should give it a try. if no spark after the third date, then its not meant be, eh?

Wow.. That sounds like a REALLY BIG coincidence!

Try it out and see how it is.. Sometime they have to grow on you if no immediate sparks fly in the beginning.

I felt the same way with DH and we'll be together for 11 years in June

The same thing happened to one of my girlfiriends, nothing ever came out of it though.

I think you should look at him again! There is something going on between you two...even though you aren't feeling it yet. It could be a profound friendship, an excellent future business connection, or love! I love stories like these! Keep us posted.

The same thing happened to one of my girlfiriends, nothing ever came out of it though.

Don't you know this ran through my mind! But, I can't imagine he would know I was coming here and he seemed surprised to see me...and a little put off at first. He wrote me an email a couple of months ago and I think I wrote back like one sentence...he was like "why didn't you tell me you were coming here?" so I don't think it was planned.

Well I"m heading back to the states in a couple of days and he's hanging here until sometime in March so we'll see what happens when he returns.
