Faster relaxer processing on pre-straigthened new growth

Ok I was wonder if your new growth was already straightened before with like a flat iron or something I'd say about the week before and it was still relatively straight when you got your relaxer would it process faster then if it were in it's natural state?

I think this question was posted before and the consensus was that whilst application would be easier processing time should stay the same.
