Im military.

Im shocked that female would say something like that. OMG I learned so much for this site. This site was the best thing that happen to me and my friend, who lead me here. if you want long healthy hair, this is the best place to be.

I'm a physician.

Why would anyone think that you have to be straight out of high school to want nice hair? That's bizarre.

Mine was a little complicated, I am in my 30's, a work from home mother and I also take college courses. I have a mother who took very good care of my hair when I was younger but she only knows about natural hair. Now that I am relaxed (self-relaxing now) I wanted information on the best care and products for relaxed hair. Most of the women I know wear weave and the hair under it is a mess so I thought I would come here :)

why we gotta be all that? my mom hasn't taken care of my hair in years. i'm a full time college student...6 months away from that good ol' BA.

samantha you are right...most women on here are gettin PAID, or they are some damn good perpetrators. :lachen:

I'm a teacher and college student mom who is working on a masters. Ummm...do I even fit in here? Lol.

I too am a teacher, wife, and mom who just wants nice hair! This place is giving me the best info I could find.

I am a registered nurse with a B.S. in Nursing. I found lhcf out of frustration for caring for my dd's hair. There were always "relaxed heads" in my house while growing up so I never knew what to do for natural hair. In seeking answers to the methods of my madness concerning my dd' s hair, I embarked on my own healthy hair journey. So there you go....

I'm military, and part time college student. And not to mention, I was the one doing mom's hair and my little sister's. So I've been doing my own hair for a while now. No one imbalanced over here.

I'm a Network Engineer in IT Security. 5 years ago a girl came up to me and asked me if I was Niko's cousin. I smiled and said "I don't have a cousin named Niko". I didn't know about this forum at the time. Well, after a couple of years of styling my BSL hair almost daily and destroying my hair, I started wearing a ponytail weft to grow my hair back, but to no avail. I did a big chop to chin length a few months ago and then decided I wanted to grow my length back. I'm currently at SL and trying to regain my length through this forum.

Intelligent people educate themselves concerning a problem before trying to resolve the problem, which is why I am here. This forum allows me to learn from the experiences of others and I now consider myself follically educated and equiped to properly take care of my hair. Your colleague is an idiot, feel free to quote me.

I'm a girly girl and I love long hair and I'm determined to grow my hair as long as it will grow. And I'm well rounded and properly balanced.

I'm a corporate professional who has not always had the time or inclination to cultivate beautiful hair. OP sounds like you are wasting your time, energy & good advice on someone who is undeserving. Why put yourself out there like that?

I'm a 48 year old Research Project Administrator in a brain disorders lab (autism, alzheimer, schizophrenia) Divorced, 3 children (2 grown), living on my own for some time now

My daughter is currently in an RN program and she found this site. Couldn't figure out why her hair won't get past APL and it grows so rapidly and is thick.
