I love playing devil's advocate on this forum because it's entertaining & that has cause some of you to hate me.. but let's put that aside and talk about HAIR because that's ultimately why we're all here.

I swear to God I've never had hair this healthy before!! :grin: Coming from a family where I'm the only one with 'afro-textured' hair has made me feel lonely at times but joining this forum has introduced me to a new family (you guys!) I don't usually write sentimental crap like this but today is an exception :lol:

Every 6months I'm surprised with how much my hair has grown.

My hair continues to grow. & days I get bored of it I log onto here and you ladies continue to inspire me

I co-wash every other day (sometimes everyday) with any conditioner I have. At the moment I'm using Tresemme. Then I use Kinky Kurly as my leave-in.. and seal with olive oil.

I shampoo once a week, and every weekend I do a protein treatment (ORS mayonnaise or henna) and then deep condition my hair with QP Elasta.

I comb & braid my hair every night before going to sleep otherwise I suffer from really bad tangles & knots.

My main protective style is a high bun.
I wear it 99% of the time.


Hope that helps somebody.

ETA: I forgot to mention I take the Pure Cod Liver Oil supplement.. quite consistently.

Your hair is so pretty and shiny! It's amazing what six months of a hhj can do.

Wow, beautiful curls. It's hard to believe you would cover all that up with a relaxer. Do you use a gel or cream to bring out the curls?
