Ever wore a wig over braids??

I have a last minute photoshoot and I have braids in my hair. I want to take some photos with braids but I also want to take photos that show how my hair looks without.
My only solution is to wear a wig over my braids! Has anyone ever done this? I'm thinking it would look weird and bulky, especially since I've never had a wig b4. Suggestions??

I think it may look a little bulky. I'd suggest just shooting with the braids. If they are human hair, maybe style it a little different for some of the pics. Will there be a stylist for the shoot and does the photographer know ahead of time you are sporting braids? I am just asking because I have had to remove my braids for a shoot.

Thanks Carrie. This is a test shoot and the photographer doesn't know that I'm sporting braids. I'll try your suggestion but I'm also stubborn. I'll by one and give it a try. I'll take pictures to show you how it looks.
