ever lost an entire curl?

So i dyed my hair today with a product called rage and react , i stupidly did not foll the instructions since i think i am the hair dye queen, After my hair was dry and dark brown {which I hate} i was throwing out the instrux.. guess what i was supposed to shampoo my hair which I did not

, so i rushed back to the bathroom to shampoo my hair {none came in the package}. and when I combed my hair a whole curl fromthe back of my most heatlthy section was nicely wound up on my comb,The most hair I loose in a washing is about 5 strands .. now I am scared that I will have to start all over again, This is the most hair I've had in 5 years and I would hate to start all over again I finally have a nice 7 inch afro ... what dfo i do to stop the damage that I did?

Am I over reacting?

A protein treatment and a good moisturising conditioner would help repair the damage. I recommend Aubrey GPB, it works well for me.

I would definately do a protein conditioner pronto. Either AO GPB or even something a bit stronger like Elasta's Breakage control serum. Then I would follow w/ a deep conditioner w/ heat like Elasta's Intense, KeraCare's Humecto, etc.

I agree with Ms Davis, Aubrey's GPB protein conditioner should do the job. I know when I was transitioning it really helped the helthiness and the elasticity of my hair

My hair isbetter I am getting used to the color and no more only one more entire curl has fallen off.I have been using the Aubrey and keraphix to strengthen and I did another hot oil treatment and used the Luxavan conditioner that my long haired co worker uses for my dialy co washes.. my hair feels a looooot better...man I dont't know what i woulda done without you guys. thanks
