Why are my ends all poofy and ugly looking? At first I thought maybe they were split ends so I looked at them and nope, they're not split. Are they just really dry? What can I do to fix this? tia

My ends lok like that and I was contemplating whether I should cut them or not. I'm not sure if it's heat damaged (I haven't used heat in months. No curling, flat ironing or blowdrying). I'm going to try some of these suggestions and hope this helps. I don't want to cut my hair.![]()
Hi
I had this and really found that in addition to moisture (steam really helps), and making sure i was sealing in the moisture, Apple cider vinegar rinses really really helped. i odnt measure, just pour some in a jug of water for your final rinse (if you can smell the vinegar, dilute it some more.
