thank you

This sounds like an easy challenge to do, I'm in also. I've been pretty good at keeping my ends moisturized. I don't see how any of us can go wrong. Go ladies!

I haven't always been good about moisturizing my hair at all. Until the boards, I didn't do anything special for my ends at all. But they've going to be tucked away most of the time with baggie method, covered with phony ponies. I don't see how I could get split or dry ends when they're well coated with moisturizer and oils.

I'm late, I was getting this mixed up with Hairlove's healthy edges challenge, anyway I'll join in on this challenge. I'm pretty much doing this for the most part anyways.

is it enough for me to just keep my ends moisturized, or do i need to tuck them away somehow?? for instance im wearing twists right now, and my ends are not tucked away, but i keep them well moisturized...is that good enough??
~T~

I am definitely in, I have not been treating my hair good at all. I leave it out all the time and it gets brittle and dry.
I'm going to do a daily co-wash from now on and wrap at night, I have enough oils to put in my hair to last till I get some cash.

Shatani, that should be enough to keep them well moisturized.

I think that's what I'll do. I'll also have to remember to use oil on my ends. It always makes them more manageable.

with the foil thing for frizz i havent had to do it yet...with the stuff i put on my hair everynite now i don't need too but(cuz of the challenge)..if i did i was gonna do a blow dryer technique with the foil on the ends....blowdryer not to close tho...i wouldnt imagine an curling iron it...lol

I'm definitely in. I trimmed my hair last week and I've been protecting it by air drying or rollersetting. I wrap them up at night and tie them. I've also cut down on hot curling and have just been wearing them straight when I go to work (not too cute though). On the days that I'm off, with the exception of today I leave them wrapped all day if I'm not going out. I just started using this products called Sealed Ends which so far seems very good, hopefully it will keep me from having to get frequent trims. I've also just bought a chi ceramic flat iron for the days when I need to hot curl.

The trick I believe is to make it a habit, like brushing your teeth. I'm doing that now, so I automatically moisturize my ends in the morning and before going to bed. If necessary, like if I wore my hair out in the wind or something, I'll moisturize it another time.

i moisturized my hair in generall with seaplasma moisture spray today. im about to go to bed and i sprayed s-curl no drip activator(great moisturizer by the way

) on my ends. i then put a baggie over my ponytail and secured it with some ponytail holders. ill let you know how it turns out in the morning after i wake up!

I feel so good about my hair now.
I started co washing for the last two days and I put a leave in conditioner, either Infusium or Optimum and then I put in some hair grease/mositurizer, then I put an antifreeze. Then I tie my hair back in a silk scarf with a bun yuh know what I mean? and I go about my business.. I even wear it to work and out and stuff..
And my hair feels awesome!!!

I am in. I have been doing the baggie/phony ponie for two weeks. I cond. wash 2x a week. I airdry and and coat my end with coconut grease and carefree curl gold. I want to retain some length with this method.
