In December 06 a stylist ruined my hair so badly that it broke off all over the place. I didn't know what I was going to do. I had to have it cut off to even it out in places, and I was just devastated. After searching the Internet for ways to repair my hair, I found LHCF. I must say that you all have been a godsend to me and have been such an inspiration. I have included a link that will show you pictures of the way my hair looked when I started this journey to the way it looks today. Thank you so much for the inspiration. Now, I know I can have long healthy hair. I can't wait to reach APL by Dec. 08.

How did you come back? You have made tremendous progress this past year- it seems like you did a really good job of retaining your length.

Thanks for the inspiration- I had a stylist mishap in Aug, and my hair has just been breaking since then. I have 4 in pieces and 12 in pieces-I hope by next Aug I will be a success like you.

Keep up the great work!

My regime is simple really. I deep condition twice a week (Tuesday and Saturday). On Tuesday I use Aveda DR products (protein) and on Wednesdays I use Nexxus products(moisture). I rotate between moisture and protein and it has worked wonders for me. I have also incorporated pre-treatments of Queen Helens Cholesterol and avocado treatments. This is done before every wash (no exceptions). I deep condition my hair every two weeks with a mix of henna and amla. I leave that on for at least an hour (bagged) and then rinse out. Everything that I do has been learned from the girls here on LHCF. I will continue this regime for 2008, incorporating Indian herbal oils and treatment.
