Whomever recommended this product was right on point. I love it /images/graemlins/smile.gif! It's not greasy yet it moisturizes your hair without weighing it down.

<font color="blue"> I agree! The mango butter is great. Just becareful when your buying it. I have a habit of smelling products before I buy them, then I reach in the back and pick a jar that no one has opened. Well when I smelled my jar at home it smelled strange......like the product was going bad. I returned it the next day and got one that smelled right.
The moral of this story is ......do the smell test on this product before you leave the store on the jar you intend to take. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks for the recommendation free2bme.

As for where to buy it, you can buy it at most beauty supply stores. I think Sally's has it also.

I bought this product today and used it on my ends and it's da bomb. I was just about to break down and spend the $17 on Wanakee's Constant Care for Ends, so my ends wouldn't dry out during the winter, cause I like to wear my hair down, and I'm sooooooo glad I read the thread about this. This stuff just soaks right into your ends! My hair is soft and bouncy still and it doesn't feel greasy-just moisturized. This isn't one of those products where the main ingredient is water that makes your hair have that oily-damp (like Luster's Pink Oil-hate that stuff!)feel to it at all. Like I said, it just absorbs right into your hair. Definitely a keeper! /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I broke down and brought this 2 weeks ago. I've been using it daily followed by my pomade and I must say my hair feels and looks very soft and moisturized...especially if I wrap my hair. This is a definite keeper for me(plus it smells yummy). /images/graemlins/lick.gif

Im bout to invest in that on my next visit to beauty queen hair store). Seems that ive become a product junkie, btw what do yall mean by a "wrapping hair" it might sound like a silly question but i don't know what it means.

Elie_chiq,
wrapping is brushing your hair around you head in one direction and if needed clipping it as you go(I don't). It's like using your head as a one big roller and rolling your hair around it. I'm not good at describing it. Maybe someone else can.

Hello ladies,
My hair becomes coarse and unmanageable the following day prior to washing, is Elasta QP Moisturizing Mango Butter a reputable moisturizer for natural 4a/4b hair?

You're advice will be greatly acknoweleged

Thank-you /images/graemlins/smile.gif

OK, I was gonna buy this, but someone said the #1 ingredient is not water.. So my question is how is it a moisturizer?? In order for a product to be an effective moisturizer the #1 should be water.

Can anybody post the the ingredients for me? Thanks

You can if you brought it at Sally's...also I find Aveda at my local Rite Aid and you can return things you buy there also.

No, I broke down and went to the Asian Folk /images/graemlins/frown.gif

There goes that.. They probably would'nt give you refund if your hair turned blue.

this may be a dumb question but how do you use this? i know someone with short hair and they put world of curls on their hair would putting this on top of it be bad? God bless you all.

I love Elast QP for my ends and edges it doesn't leave your hair feeling wet and weighed down. Is anyone using this on their new growth? If so, please post your results.

I picked up some of this stuff today and it smells marvelous. I love the consistency as well. It's kinda like the profective megagrowth. Since my hair was already done in a ponytail, I just took it down and smoothed some all over my hair. It did not weigh it down at all. I think we're gonna be real good friends. (Geez, my staples list keeps getting longer and longer /images/graemlins/blush.gif).

Oh, while I was out /images/graemlins/grin.gif, I also picked up some Elasta QP DPR-11 (Deep penetrating Remoisturizer). It's a conditioner with a very impressive ingredient list.

Extracts of Rosemary, Birch, Coltsfoot Leaf, Nettle, chamomile, Sage, Horsechestnut, Lemon Balm, and horsetail in purified water, petrolatum, cetyl alcohol, cetrimonium chloride, dimethicone, tocopheryl acetate (vit E), hydroxypropitrimonium chloride, essential oils of buchu, lauryl, orange, neroil, and black currant, methylparaben, imidazolidinyl urea. (WHEW!)

Can't wait to try this. with a plastic cap and some heat. I'll post a review when I do.

For those who have used this product.....do you just put it on the ends of your hair...or on the entire hair strand (from the root to the end) ?
