Elasta QP Moisturizing Mango Butter

I love love love this! I use it mainly on my ends or throughout my hair if I need more moisture. It's also really my new growth.

I use the Elasta QP DPR-11 especially after a protien treatment (Aphogee, Motions CPR, Ramoni etc.) and I find that it really softens my hair. It is really good. /images/graemlins/clap.gif /images/graemlins/clap.gif /images/graemlins/clap.gif

Julia....I had this once and it did nothing for my hair. I sent it to my sister and it did nothing for her hair eiter. However.....when I recently opened up a jar of it, I noticed it was more creamy then the one i had picked up last year. Mine was sort of dry....I'm guessing that this was the reason. I will probably retry it again some time later this year or next year....

Does anyone here who lives in New Jersey know where I can purchase this product? I have been to 5 local beauty supply stores and Sally's and no one has it! /images/graemlins/crazy.gif They have all of the other Elasta products but not the Mango Butter. /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif I am in Union County.

I live in Austin, Tx and I can't seem to find it as well. I was in S.A. today and couldn't find it here as well. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Hi Fletgee /images/graemlins/wave.gif

I have never seen it at Sally's. I have seen it at a few local beauty supply stores (korean) but the first place I ever saw it was at CVS. Try your drugstores.

I am going to0 try Walgreens on my way to school. maybe this will cure my frizzies!!!!
I can not wait to get my touch up!!

Hi Daviine!

I have a CVS near me. Funny, I never seem to go there, but I will check it out. Thanks. /images/graemlins/Rose.gif

Thanks PJ ladies. I went out during lunch (got on the subway JUST to go to a beauty supply store). /images/graemlins/nono.gif I know. Shame huh? I'll try the mango butter once my hair is freshly washed and conditioned. It does smell pretty good too.

i have an almost full tub at home which i havent used much since i got the curl activators. the raves on this thread makes me wanna use some of this for my twist outs tonite! /images/graemlins/look.gif

Hi Kia, /images/graemlins/wave.gif

I'm so glad you started this thread. I finally tried the Elasta QP Mango Butter Moisturizer a few minutes ago. Besides the wonderful smell, this stuff makes my hair feel great. After I shampooed and conditioned my hair, I skipped my usual leave-in conditioner, and I went straight for the Mango Butter Moisturizer. Hmph. This stuff IS good. I'm so glad I read all of the raves. Thanks. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

How much did you all pay for the mango butter. I seen the 4 oz jar for like 5.20 plus tax and i wanted to know if that was the right price.

I don't want to hear anything more about this product! /images/graemlins/mad.gif No, no, no! And why you ask? In this product's persuit I have been to- 9 beauty supply stores, 2 Sally's-CVS, Rite Aid, and Walmart! /images/graemlins/shocked.gif I am convinced this stuff is hiding from me, sigh. So, please do not post anymore rave reviews! I just don't know where else to look for it! I can't take it..lol...I can't take it! /images/graemlins/wallbash.gif

I had the same problem too so I got mine off the internet at havanabeautysupply.com Hope that helps

Hi Fletgee, /images/graemlins/wave.gif

Well, apparently, you must live near some other LHCF members. This is the only reason I can come up with as to why you haven't been able to find it after visiting THAT many stores. /images/graemlins/wink.gif Girl, keep looking. You're bound to find it some where. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

this may be a dumb question but how do you use this? i know someone with short hair and they put world of curls on their hair would putting this on top of it be bad? God bless you all.

I'm not sure if it would be bad or not. When I use a moisturizer, I use the same moisturizer until it's time to shampoo my hair again. I don't like layering my hair care moisturizers. When I want to use a different moisturizer, I wait until my hair has been freshly shampooed/conditioned.

ME TOO!!! I have looked and looked and looked, but cannot find the stuff. There is only one store within 60 miles of my house that even sells Elasta Products. It is the Sally's near my job. They had Elasta everything...but the Mango Butter. I mean they had Elasta Shine Cream, Elasta Conditoner, Elasta Shampoo, Elasta Peanut Butter Bars...Oops.

Anyway, I looked like only a true PJ can by digging way back in the shevles, but still no Mango Butter. The cashier in Sally's said the they get different Elasta Products in all the time so i will just have to wait to try this stuff. /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Gigi and Fletgee, why don't you ask someone to order it for you?? There are several Korean stores that I know of in my state, that will order what ever it is that I am looking for that they don't have. Have you guys tried ordering?? It can't hurt to ask. I normally shop at Sally's. But they don't carry as many products as the Korean Stores. I know some people don't enjoy shopping in those stores. But they just may have what you are looking for. /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif

i finally found the mango butter in florida! it took weeks for me to find it but every store i went into i kept an eye out for it. i found it at walmart. i love it too. my hair feels really soft and moisturized. it smells wonderful too! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well thanks to some info from Keylargo, (thanks so much!!!) I was able to purchase the Mango Butter. I washed my hair and then used the mango butter and wrapped my hair. The next day...my hair was shiny, soft and full of life. It looked and felt like I had gone to the salon for a shampoo and condition. And all I had done differently was add the mango butter to my hair at home. This product is fantastic./images/graemlins/clap.gif /images/graemlins/clap.gif /images/graemlins/clap.gif I'd like to thank everyone for the favorable reviews on this product...I look forward to trying other Elasta QP products. /images/graemlins/drunk.gif /images/graemlins/drunk.gif
