Hello Ladies -

I need some help. I am painting and had a little accident between a wet wall, my two-year old grandson, and me. He's fine, the wall if fine (after a little touch up); however, I have paint in my hair. It's maybe a two inch spot right in the top. I am finishing the windows right now, and hope to come back and find that someone has a miracle which will enable me to remove the paint without cutting my hair.

If the paint was still wet, it would have been possible to wash it out... but at this point, I'm not sure that there is anything that you can do to remove it without damaging your hair. You may have to cut it out... BUT try washing your hair a few times and see if it doesn't get it out!

Found this tip on Hair Boutique
Most paint on the market today is water based and will wash out with shampoo and warm water. If for some reason the paint does not wash out it is best to call the store where you bought the paint for suggestions. A tiny bit of paint remover can also be carefully deployed. The key is to use only a tiny amount to avoid harming your hair. Always read the bottle of paint remover to be sure it is safe for hair or skin.

Hope that helps.

Since the screaming baby prevent immediate washing, I am going to try washing now - maybe a couple of times, and see what happens. i used an acrylic, water-based paint. Hopefully, it will work. The idea of using paint thinner is too scary.

Thanks ladies.
