Easy Protective Style Once Humidity Happens ***PICS***

I flat-ironed my hair last friday and wanted to be able to get at LEAST a week out of the style. Well, I was doing good until the humidity completely obliterated every bit of Aveda Brilliant pomade that was shellacked onto my strands. My hair was a swollen, puffy mess. So, in order to prolong the "straight" look, I pulled my hair into a high ponytail, tucked then pinned one inch wide strips of hair down and this is what I got.






I hope this helps someone else whose hair gets a beat down in the humid weather and you need another quick, easy style.

It just gave me a ponytail with "bumped" ends. You can definetly wear the take-down style.
