So helpful thank you! I can definitely see the airstrait gave the sleekest results. Did you ever run into issues with the wet sections casing the already dry sections to revert?

Glad it was helpful! No issues with the wet sections causing the dry sections to revert. This is probably because I rough dry the roots in large sections first, then break down the sections to make the passes with the Airstrait. That approach + strategically clipping up the hair I’m not currently working on helped me avoid any reversion issues.

I am still getting it but the bundles haven't been what I have been waiting for and Black Friday deals and lives were a bust(good sales and options on things I already had). I will probably have it later this year. I'm just waiting for a bundle to apply the owner's discount.

I finally decided to purchase after finding @LHDC3 's review on YouTube in November. Used it three times so far. Still experimenting with my technique but overall I'm very pleased with this purchase. So far, my best results were on hair that had dried about 40 percent. Hair that was more damp resulted in straight roots, more textured mid-lengths and straight ends for me, but the difference wasn't noticeable after styling. I was also able to use larger sections when my hair had dried a bit first.

Now I'm thinking that rough drying the roots in larger sections might produce the same results as letting my hair dry under a wrap. I was rough drying each section of hair instead. That might make the overall process a bit faster too.

I ordered the Airstrait 4/18. $100 off, free paddle brush +comb + round brush in Rose and Rakuten 10% off. The code for the 100 off and free stuff was LOVEMOM. That code expires on 4/21/2024 at 11:59 PM. I purchased the limited edition pink and rose gold Mother's Day option. I had to call customer service to get the round brush and comb because it wasn't on my confirmation, even though it was promoted in the Dyson live for using the LOVEMOM CODE. Dyson added it as a separate free order when I called customer service and provided the Dyson love screenshots compared to my order confirmation. I was debating posting this now or after my order shipped because I ordered the large volumizing round brush for the airwrap and my hair clips months ago, while those items were in stock, but both orders were canceled a few weeks after I ordered and the items went out of stock. My initial Airwrap order was also lost by UPS and I had to reorder it and get a refund for the first one a few years ago. Dyson is WAY too expensive for a trend of order issues, but hopefully, this order will ship fine. This is how I shop. The tool is expensive but the 100 off, extra accessories and limited edition items give me more for my money, so now was the time for me to be ready to purchase. I hope I LOVE it and I fully expect to.

Just like they canceled my clips and the airwrap large volumizing brush, they just canceled the brush set that was part of the order. I called customer service again this morning and they are sending me the travel pouch free while I wait and will ship the comb and brush set free once it restocks, instead of the cancellation. As long as I get what was advertised, the delays don't bother me, and I welcome an extra free item on the way, but I do politely push for my money's worth and what was advertised. Ain't no bait and switch round "chere". The other items did already arrive in a timely fashion.

I am using the Airstrait now. I LOVE IT. It gives a "yaki" effect. It honestly stretches efficiently with 2 passes but 3-4 will lock in the stretch better. OMG-ooodness I really love this. I wear my hair in stretched styles, frequently. I don't always use blowouts for presses, so this suits me perfectly. It's a lot harsher than the Revair. I don't consider it a "healthy hair" tool. The velocity of the wind and intensity of the heat can make it easy to dry my hair out and cause spilt ends. The power reminds me of modified Dominican dryers even if the temperature is technically lower, with power that gives the same effect. It's still overpriced. It is not as versatile as a blow dryer or a flat iron (although I could use this with a round brush), so for that reason, it is worth #$300 and not $500. Price aside, I repeat, I love this! It is a fantastic tool.

The photo compares the shrinkage to the stretch. Using it makes me even more excited than wanting it. Revair is still my favorite, but this will have a spot on the beauty counter!

May you get the job and the Airstrait! I do think it is perfect for those of use who stretch and style.

I have had my daith pierced since 2008 or 2009. I got it pierced right at the vertix of where the daith meets the helix, so mine is technically a daith piercing. Funny thing is I suffered from severe migraines from age 4 (it was identified when I as literally in preschool) until early 20's. I saw auras and other vision signals, had digestive issues, was incapacitated for days at the time...the whole 9...pure torture. One day my sister asked me to come with her to get her tragus pierced and when she asked me if I wanted anything I just got my daith pierced on both sides spontaneously...completely unplanned. Inside a year, my migranes stopped completely. I thanked the Good Lord for healing and never questioned why. Several years later, I saw a trend of people getting it to cure migraines and said "well I'll be darned" because I remembered my migraines stopping after the piercing and no one could explain why. I got it cuz it was cute, and wanted it in that spot because head-on you can't see it but it is visible from the side. Now, I will never let it close.



Anywho I definitely see the similarities between you and I! Let's keep sharing things we love!

Yall I finally got the Dyson but my hair did not end up cute and I feel like a lot of hair came out trying to use the big round brush. My hair is highly porous so it dried very fast with tool but it wasn’t as straight as I hoped for.

I guess I will try again but I’m not sure if this is better than my rev air other than from a travel perspective
