I actually broke my fancy dyson somehow, so I'm looking for a new hair dryer. Not going to pay so much this time.
Anyone try the Shark Flex Styler and that brush attachment? I've always been somewhat leery of brush attachments.
Do you spring for the extra comb attachment?

I'm also looking at the T3 Featherlweight blow dryer... because it's pink.

What is everyone using these days?
Thanks for any recs and tips!

No feedback on the shark, but do you know why/how your Dyson broke?

@LadyRaider
I'm not sure. There was this little round netting piece that came off. It didn't come off completely because it was attached around the cord. But it slid off. I tried to put it back, but maybe it didn't line up correctly with the little red dot? I don't know. I just couldn't get it to work and I assume that was the problem.

It sounds like an issue with your filter. I may be off base, but if you just dislodged your filter all you have to do is wipe off the exposed metal barrel that the round netting piece attaches to with a dry cloth or brush, scrub the filter, rinse the detectable part clean(only rinse the plastic part not the metal handle)then put that round netting piece back in place one it dries. It does have to be put back on a specific way, but if you slide it up as far as it will go on the handle and then twist it to the right until it snaps into place you should be able to feel the groove, even if the indicators showing you how to attach it have rubbed off. My advice may be off base but Dyson products are expensive and I want you to get your money’s worth if you can save it. This video shows how to clean the filter and put it back on…just in case it is a simple fix.

In any case, I hope you enjoy your new Pattern dryer!
