How can I bring the ph level back up? I dont like what the change in my ph level has done to my hair. :( I used it like 2 weeks ago and my hair has not gone back to normal yet. Does anyone know of anything with a high ph or do I just have to wait until my next relaxer retouch?

add water; it has a pH of 7, and that should help to fix the pH a bit.

don't use ACV. that probably has a lower pH than the duo tex (it's an acid, with a pH of about 3).

i hope that helped!

Normal, healthy hair has a pH of 4.5, which is on the acid side. Porosity Control restores hair to its proper pH of 4.5. :yep:

Now baking soda, like Arm & Hammer, has a pH of 14.0, the highest pH. Many of the ladies here do baking soda washes ( like 1/2 teaspoon diluted in water) to clarify. I'm not sure if it also raises the pH or not.
