So1913, do you use it with or without the plastic cap??? I have/use this too, but not often...just want it to be there when I need it.

I used it about every 6 weeks (when I had it), but 4 weeks should be safe as well whenever needed. That stuff can get kinda runny, so I would suggest to use the plastic cap

Use with a plastic cap and keep a towel on hand because it can be messy.

I have use it a week before relaxing and 3 weeks post relaxer without any problems be sure to follow up with a moisturizing conditioner.
