Dry shampoo is supposed to be brushed out so I dont think that would work with braids. I use keracare chelating wipes with a little witch hazel/water mix on it and rub it on my scalp. I sponge on a leave-in about everyday. I think that using an astringent and massaging ur scalp as u would do while shampooing is enough. I also don't really apply anything to my scalp either though.
Organic Roots Stimulator carries a product called Herbal Cleanse dry shampoo. It is a gel that comes in an applicator bottle. You apply it to the scalp, allow it to sit for 1 minute, then use a damp cloth to remove residue.
If you are trying to clean the braids, you add the product to a towel or washcloth and then wipe each braid individually.
nay for me its drying from my personal experience. Nothing beats my creme of nature poo green label yellow cap. It cleanses my scalp very well. I dilute it with water and does a great job.
