I LOVE ORS Olive Oil Cream and it never weighs me down when I use just a little. It is not too "wet" like the NTM Leave-in and a little bit lasts for days.

I've been adding water and a little almond oil to my spray bottle and spritzing my ends at night and then rolling them. Someone here on the board suggested this and it works good for me.:)

SAE - I will try that since I have SAO and water at home
and if that dont work

I will try HoneyDews way

Man, make me want to take scissors to it

I know how you feel. I get drier ends on my left side. I always want to clip it. Broke out the ORS cream and I was good to go. That stuff is the biggity-bomb!

I also just found out today that it seems that ORS has reformulated their Olive Oil creme, it no longer contains mineral oil.... Here are the ingredients off of the Walgreens website:

Ingredients
Water Aqua , Coconut Oil Cocos Nucifera , Cyclomethicone , Cetearyl Alcohol , Olive Oil Olea Europaea , Peanut Oil Arachis Hypogaea , Castor Oil Ricinus Communis , Cetyl Esters , Sorbitol , PEG-25 Hydrogenated Castor Oil , DMDM Hydantoin , Methylparaben , Fragrance Parfum , Yellow No. 5 CI 19140 , Blue No. 1 CI 42090 :D :D :D

I LUV ORS

It must be SUPER new, because the one I just bought a few weeks ago has mineral oil in it.

That's good if they removed it, but I hope it still works as well.

Abba Nourishing Leave-IN.

...my favorite. :)

I did go to the BSS (cuz I'm a certified junkie) and pick up and look at the ORS Olive Oil (it has a nice light fragrance too) and was SOOO tempted...and something told me to put it down because I have enough stuff at home...

...and that something was my boyfriend. That punk!!

I love using BB Oil Moisturizer on my ends. Plus if I set my ends on small self holding rollers for a little bit, it helps seal the moisture in and make ends look better immediately. :yep:

KhandiB,

Your little baby is such a cutie boo. He looks like a little doll. I just want to squeeze him! :)

Oh and about your ends... what they said.

ETA: I agree that rolling the ends does make them look and feel better for some reason.

Mineral oil or not, ORS olive oil moisturizer is the bomb.

That thur Mizani H2O stuff in Supergirls siggy is good too. I put that on ma' ends sometimes

Hi Khandi,

OT: MY your little man is CUTE! Goodness!

Anyway, I use Jane Carter's Nourish & Shine on my ends at least 2x per day while my hair is out. Then at night before I wrap I put a decent bit of ORS Olive Oil Moisture Lotion (the one with nnon mineral oil) on my ands and smooth some on the top layer of my hair. Then I wrap.

This works so well for me that I stopped using extra Cantu Shea Butter Leave In Moisture Crean when I rollerset.

I find that keeing the ends CONSTANTLY moisturized really helps. I also micro trim when I suspect the ends even begin to get dry.

So far, so good.

Maybe you should trim a bit then start on your moisture-mania!

Thx everybody for the comps on my baby :D he is the best!

I decided not to get the ors yet.. Imma see if some of the stuff I have here works.. I have profectiv MegaGrowth so I will try that with some water and some SAO and some rollers and see how that works before I buy anything else

I have no prob with Mineral Oil so if this dont work the ORS is on my list!

I used water, MegaGrowth and a insy binsy bit out SAO and rolled it upwards (due to the holders) so we shall see, I wont sleep in these cuz I wanna wrap it tonite.

Ill let you guys know tomorrow :)

I agree with supergirl! I would apply a tad bit of serum and roll the ends with a big roller to let them airdry. My ends always dry smooth that way.

I tried the Mizani H2O and loved it. Then I tried the Sidr Butter Balm and Alma & Olive Oil Heavy cream both from Qhemets and I fell in love. Seriously I threw away all my other moisturizers this morning except these three. I have found my staples. I have been wearing my hair straight the entire month of July and these three helped me preserve my ends.

Jane carter nourish and shine! I wish I could afford to buy everyone some of this butter. It leave my ends soft and smooth, not to heavy but they just feel "conditioned":D

UBH Moisturizer work best for my hair, expensive but worth it.

I use this also when I roller set or for any style after I finish styling I spray the dew moisturizer on my hair especially the ends.

I tried my silk elements leave-in over my wet hair then put some bb moisturizing growth lotion on my ends covered by end papers and rollers. I separted my hair into three sections on both sides of my head and my ends fell like heaven. I had to stop with the serum because it was preventing the moisture from entering after my initial application. I have smooth ends now.

You can also find it at grocery stores near EVOO and other oils. I have an 8 oz bottle I got for around $5.00. It lasts a long time.
