Honesty, I don't see why not. Im natural and my hair loves it. It makes my hair soft. I use the Care Free Gold.

I love this stuff but it has to be the one in the spray bottle....I hated the carefree curl gold.....its thicker/stickier, and seems to be drying on my hair. I was going thru the one u are talking about like water in the spring and summer and it REALLY helped with growth retention. My hair was hardly ever dry and if it was, all I needed was a few spritzes of this on my hands and rubbed it through my hair and it was soft again.

I use it and then seal it with oil. It keeps my hair soft and moisturized in the winter.
