So do you ladies use leave-ins, creams, or something else to moisturize your ends in between washes?
I've never used that leave-in, but I just looked up the ingredients and it seems to have a lot of things that could dry out your hair--i.e. three different kinds of alcohol, citric acid, and salt (which can help infuse more moisture, but you typically wanna rinse that out). I know a lot of ladies love this product but maybe that's what's disagreeing with your hair. If you don't have any other leave-ins you could try using one of your moisturizing or deep conditioners to moisturize your ends instead and then seal with the castor oil. I personally like Giovanni Direct Leave-in on my ends and then seal with an oil. I'm not really an expert on this stuff, I just joined the forum not too long ago, but that's myHTH!

Those alcohols are actually fatty alcohols that are actually good for the hair. I had actually said the same thing you just said in a previous thread a while back, and someone corrected me.
