people are so negative about you learning new tricks for your hair? Anyway, this kid i was talking on da phone wit asked me what i was doing and i said washing my hair. So he was like, you washing your hair everyday, it's gonna fall out. I repeated back to him that i only washed my hair only on saturdays cause let's face it ladies, i go to school, work and in clubs. I ain't got the time of day. He starts arguing wit me like he know me better than i know myself talkin 'bout yea you do. Everytime i call you always washing your hair. Well i sternly assured him that i only do it on saturdays and that i know what my hair likes and washing everyday ain't one of them.
So you know he had the nerve to tell me that if i really knew my hair, it would be down my back right now.
I just told him thank you for your comment and i'll see ya around. He had the guts to ask me about what i was doing all day but you know i was ready to get off the phone so i gave him a snappy answer and i think he got the point so he was like, alright bye. I didn't even wait to find out if there was anything else he woulda said cause i hung up.
My point is...don't ya'll hate when people act like they know what's best for you? I mean sure i had some setbacks cause the weather up here doesn't go with my hair for nothing but i'm slowly regaining my length back. He just better make sure that when my hair is down my back he don't try to hit on me cause Lord knows!!

. anyway, i see your point. i also hate it when people tell me what's best for my hair. i have the "you wash your hair too much" argument at work at least once a week. i just ignore my coworkers and keep doing what works for me. in fact one of them bugged me so much i started a personal challenge (and wrote it in my calendar) since 10/07/06 to prove her ass wrong by February 07. how dare she tell me black people were not meant to have long hair? i can't wait to see her reaction!
