Don\'t Get Discouraged Nessa or Others
Remember,
If you are treating your hair with TLC by using great products, gentle when combing, protecting and moisturizing, and not using heat(or using it to the minimal) then your hair has no choice but to "perform" well for you. It has no choice but to be healthy and grow for you.
Still you should remember that perhaps when you started this hair care regimen and such--your hair may have still been getting over "issues." (Guess y'all didn't know that hair could have baggage too
) Maybe there was over-processing, heat damage, whatever...so it takes time.
Nessa, I don't think braids with extensions are for everyone. I had crochet braids a while back and I felt like my hair was really thin and weak when I took them out. This wasn't what I had expected. I thought my hair was "resting" while I had it in crochets(which was only for a month) But truthfully, IMO--I think crochets and micros wreak havoc on the hair. Again, that's just my opinion so if one of you ladies is reading this and have had success with either of those braiding methods then more power to ya!
The thing that got me back on track(of all things) was a good cholesterol treatment for about an hour.
Anyway, be good to your hair and it will be good to you. I truly believe that.
