Cornrows broke the front of my hair does that mean

I should NOT get micros? I want something new but I did a search and it seems like the general consensus is microbraids are not good for the hair. What braid style can I get that wont wreak havoc on my hair line?

u gotta to take care of your braids and make sure that they aren't to tight. don't just got to shankqua form down the street. i have realized tht any breakage i have had from braids was just thiking that i can leave them up there and not do anything

Thanks for the advice. My unfortunate experience with some African braiders is they dont listen to what you say. They nod and say yes and do what they want. I guess I have to search better. Thank you
