well, mission accomplished. mom did a great job. i took a pic but i'm too tired to post it right now. i cant let my hair go near any water or air for the next two weeks i guess! i know if i look at it the wrong way it'll be tangled again. gonna keep this sucker braided as much as possible. pure madness i tell you. at least it'll be gone in 2 weeks.

I am sorry this happened to you. I hate sensationel's regular line, I think it is theworst on the market. Sensationnel though does offer a REMI line that has a body wave textured hair that will look like your hair looked originally but will hold up with time. Also like DShy mentioned Bohyme offers hair that will give a similar look but better quality and minimal tangles. HTH.

I washed this hair with shampoo about 3 times, and a couple other times with only conditioner. didnt help anyway. ive used wet and wavy 'sleek' hair before when i went to barbados on holiday http://www.sleek.co.uk/ and it lasted quite well. i did the beach thing about 4 times in the 2 weeks i was there. i also conditoner washed it every day for those two weeks to keep the curls looking good and to get the salt out (on the beach days). it was cheaper than this premium plus mess and it didnt do this crazy matting thing! ages ago i used janet collection remy hair that came in a red packaging which was the best hair ever. it lasted 5 months. now they sell their remy in a gold box and it lasts 2 months. and the price is higher. guess they caught on... but if i ever find a store that sells those red boxes....

i only get my hair sewn in these days. ive got a tiny piece left out at the front to cover the left and right tracks. trust me when i tell you my hair felt like silk when it got done... no tangles/shedding/split ends. but that nice coating came off pretty fast and now i can see that most of the strands are not the 20 inches theyre supposed to be! the only way this hair would last is if you never washed/wet it. too bad for me, cause i'm not one of those people that can go without washing my hair. i'll be damned...

Like everyone else, I was shocked the hair took such a drastic turn for the worst in so short a time. Glad your mom was able to work it out.

I've found I get the most longevity from bss hair by applying a good conditioner and braiding it before washing. Detangle each section with a good leave-in moisturizer wide tooth comb and let it air dry. For the money you spent, I hope you can get more than two weeks.

they coat the hair in silicone to give it lustre, but even so i didnt expect anything this crazy to happen once it washed off. dullness i can understand but down a furball is just unacceptable. you live you learn. they will never be receiving any of my money again.

too late to check the packet, ive already thrown it out... every brand ive ever bought said 'tangle free', regardless of if it tangled or not! i wont be getting any more sensationnel, no matter what it says on the packet. i just cant risk looking like a troll all over again.

i really want to steer clear of sensationell, but hey, i'm sure i can bare the extreme tangles for 1 night?

The texture is called Indian Curl. i'm not too sure what other brands offer that curl though. i bought this hair at a store in finsbury park in london. i really loved the wave pattern of that stupid hair. i think i can recreate the same effect using bantu knots. i believe thats what theyre called anyway.

im sure you will like it, indianhairs.com is cheapest. but i wouldnt recommend the curly...alot of mixed reviews

hand tied straight has 99% positive reviews. alot of members at bhm and bbbh got that and then curly permedit to get curls. thats what i did to...and no tangling still =)
