Once there was a girl that looked like this

and this
http://jadedcynicism.fotki.com/password/haircare/hairstyles/2005_03_05_weave_front.html
Her weave was silky smooth and tangle free. unfortunately, what she didnt realise was that she'd been had.... 11 days and couple shampoos later, she looked like this:

and this:

Needless to say she was a little p!ssed off.

dang thats jacked up, sorry it ended up like that

you have to be really careful when you wash a curly/wavy weave i've had my best luck removing the hair washing /degangling air drying and re applying the hair but most people want to wash more often than once a month so that isnt always practical

Aww ma Im sorry that happened to you. I never used sensational but I had a lot of success with Bohyme hair!! try that next time

nooo!!! :( i would be sooo upset, too!!! it hurt me looking at all those tangles.... it looked so good at the beginning. smh! :ohwell:

What really p!ssed me off is that i put it in on the 5th and its only the 16th today! wtf... ive tried a lot of weave hair in my time but ive never seen anything like this.

Okay I'm confused....those are your photos?
yeah thats me alright :( and my jacked up hair. my mom came to my apartment just now to help me untangle it. i cant even face it.... cause i know i'll end up cutting it off.

Wow, I'm really sorry. I know nothing at all about weaves, so I can't offer any advice, but I'm sure a lot ladies will benefit from your post.

Wow! Question. When you wash it are you supposed to wash it in warm or cold water? Can synthetic hair withstand any kind of "heat"?

OT....your hair came out nice in the beginning. It kinda reminded me of Heather Hunter....not you but the hair! LOL

Wow thats really messed up...it was BEAUTIFUL.....before anyway. OT but what kind of makeup do you use....I always end up with too dark or ashy.....??

It is human hair. Just very bad quality. Warm water is usually fine with every weave i've used in the last couple years. I hope to god a got a bad batch (yeah right) and all the premium plus hair doesnt do this.... cause the're some pissed off women out there right now. oh well, thats what i get for buying non-remy hair.

I see that you use ApHOGEE Keratin & Green Tea Restructurizer... how do you use that? As a leave in? I wouldn't use it as a leave in, I was wondering if there was another way to use it.

You use elasta's colors too, have you ever tried the clear one??

So I looked at the before and after pictures and the hair looked so nice......then I looked at the after pics and I was like

I think you should sue.

i use when i flat iron sometimes as the heat helps the protein bind to the hair. not too often though of course. can be handy for the odd rollerset as it does tend to set hair a little bit. offers more hold than plain ole water. i use this stuff sparingly. too much of a good thing and all that... ive bought the indigo elasta dye but i havent tried it yet. i will do so and post pics once i take this weave out.

:lachen: thats what i was thinking! my moms here now sectioning and combing this madness out... gonna flat iron and hope for the best. will take about 2 hrs to detangle this mess. never in my life have i seen a weave die so fast!

Aww poor baby I hope you have a gallon of detangler. I would suggest Pantene Smooth n' Sleek or Biolage detangling conditioner and a lot of patience. Oh And you are gorgeous!

im using some tresemme stuff i had from ages ago. never really crosses my mind to buy a detangler as conditioner always tends to do the job. until now that is... and my 666 weave!
