I took my oldest to get a blow out at the Dom Salon on Saturday. They came through for me...only thing...my daughter didn't get the rollerset.

she's a natural that lives and breathes ponytails. Her hair hasn't been straighten since 7th grade and she's in 11 now. It was a shock to us all!!!

Here's the results...well before and after

you can see the rest in my fotki under CeeCee...psswrd (myhair).

I'll do my hair next sometime in 07. I just want it to grow a little more.

The links didn't work for me.What is a DOminican Blowout anyways??

Sorry...I just fixed the links.

Dominican Blowouts are done by Stylists that are from Dominican Republic. They use very high heat and a round brush. They also rollerset first then do the blow out. Products from DR or Spain are also used along with others such as Redken and Ramoni (at ours anyway).

Gorgeous!!!! Im scared they will burn my hair off not to mention my tender head  But I think I will opt for just the rollerset and flat iron at home.

Does your hair have to be unpermed/relaxed?

It doesn't have to be permed. My daughter's hair in this post doesn't have permed hair. They wanted to do it and we were walking out...she refuses to use chemicals.

The lady decided to do the wash and set minus the rollerset.

sorry i misread the question.

you can do permed hair...my other daughter (in old thread) got it done and her hair is permed. It came out sooo straight. they rollerset it/sit under hooded dryer/then blowdried it out.
