Wow, this is good! I so agree w/you Diva and they are very simple creatures. I saw a woman with gorgeous long hair today while we were out shopping and my mouth almost hit the floor. It was simply beautiful, and I almost asked if she was LHCF member!
I'm so sure she gets lots of attention and I think it could be intimidating for some guys. I also agree w/you Prettygrl, that most men just want it to be down- except for the one guy I went out with a couple times that prefered it up because he said I had a sexy neck and shoulders and that I should show it off.

Ayeshia, you were just reading my mind!!! I thought about deleting that post altogether for that very reason because he loves to read this forum when I leave the computer. He's probably secretly making posts and it looks like they're coming from me!

My SO just wants me to go natural! Which, isn't realistic for me at this time. But I have been considering it a lot more lately, maybe one day I will.

I think my husband would love it if my hair was waistlength. He likes women like Tatiyana Ali, the girl from Clueless in the Damon Wayans Love don't cost a thing movie, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
I would love to just get to the bottom of my bra-strap. 18" is the top of it. I would also love to have all even hair, with my chemical (color) layers I don't see that happening anytime soon. : )
If I could grow it to waist length I would. Although he will complain when my hair (right now) gets in his eyes, face, etc. when we are sleeping or laying around the house.

My husband doesn't want me to relax, and he is supportive of me not trimming if it will make my hair grow. I haven't had a trim since like June and he's supporting me all the way, like grow that hair girl grow that hair.
He's the one who takes my hair measurements for me.
He likes it soft and to run his fingers through it.
He says my hair is very nice now. I just know that he likes the Tatiyana's of the world b/c of their hair. To him hair is very beautiful.
I don't really know why.
I do think that hair is a women's crown of glory and I'm trying to be the most gorgeous that I can be with the longest hair I can grow (no longer than waist), but right now waist seems almost unrealistic.
I'll keep praying.

My DH could care less about the length of my hair. He likes to say he's a legs and booty guy(like whateva). He loved when I got the pixie cut for out wedding. However he's always buggin me to put the braids back in and this is only b/c he likes to mess with my hair(big bushy afro) after I take them out, he says I look like a wild person.

SG, girl you are too much. My hubby is like yours, he says what pleases me first. I am super sensitive and so he know he bet' not get me upset!LOL But seriously, I will ask him this ? tonight. He tells me that he liked me in braids because "your [hair] was down your back". Then he thought about it and said "well, I guess your hair really is down your back now. But i liked it to your butt during intimate times".

My fiance always likes my hair styles for the moment-doesn't matter if it's long or short! He loved my relaxed hair when I had my doobies; he loves the way my braids are styled, he especially loves when my hair is curly-he says it makes me look young LOL! He supports my decision to keep braiding my hair until the summer, then I may relax my hair for our wedding.

My husband and I actually had this conversation today. Although I'm not specifically growing my hair for him, he does have a say in how long I grow it. In the beginning we had both decided that waist length would be hot, but I told him today that I was thinking about just growing it to about 2 inches past bra-strap and just keep it there. I was totally inspired by Cleo's hair and the thickness and I was just afraid that if my growth cylce was only 3 years that I wouldn't be able to get the thickness at the bottom like I want. I thought he wouldn't understand, but he was okay with it...He's such a sweetie /images/graemlins/laugh.gif.
