does your hair grow at different rates?

I'm really curious because I have been noticing inthe last few months that my hair grows at different rates. The sides grow faster than the top, the crown slower than the front top, the right faster than the left.

What's up with this?

My hair is the same way. It's normal for me. I have a section on the left in front that grows really fast.

My hair grows faster on the left or slower on the right,either way my right side ALWAYS is shorter then my left

My sides probably grow about 3 inches a year, no lie.

While the rest of my head grows the average 6 inches.

My crown is extremely slow growing. It's the shortest section of my hair and requires the most TLC in order to catch up to the rest.

My sides grow so slowly. I havent had a relaxer since Feb and I might have an inch of growth on the sides. In the middle and back of my head though I probably have 3 inches.
