Mega-Tek is not a shampoo.
Since it's a protein rich treatment, it will make your hair stronger - potentially too strong.
Based on the many threads on the board, yes, it'll make your hair grow if used properly - I'd strongly suggest that you spend some time reading the threads to insure that you don't have any setbacks.
And it smells wonderful.

If you want to understand how to use it fully, you're going to have to read those 'way too long' threads. I would actually suggest that you not use MT until you've read those threads - there is a lot of invaluable information in them that will allow you to reap the biggest benefits from it. Spending the time to read them is worth it - even if it takes you a month.
