I already answered on one but I will chime in and say I will try to find before and after pics of my hair. I had one dye job to an dark brown color that resulted in no change. I had a double process that involved lifting, depositing color and that did in the lighter areas. If pics will help, I will did them up. Just let me know.

The change wasn't a bad thing though.

Yes the pics will be great! :) so maybe when going darker, it wont change the texture, but making it lighter will?

The lighter the hair color (blond) the more you will get texture change.

That's what I think. It's almost as if those color lifters, bleach or whatever you call them just cooks your hair. I watched someone's texture change in a stylist chair as she was going from black to bold blonde.

really? wow! when u think about it, it actually sounds quite logical, that that the lighter u go the more damage will be done.

Thanks!!!!

That lighter hair color really strips the hair. At least that's what happened to me some years ago. I high-lighted my hair with honey-bronze high-lights and those pieces of my hair were completely straight and damaged. Never again:nono:. Mind you I did do them myself. I don't know if you could prevent this by going to a professional.

ur hair is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just looked it your gallery! i love it!!!

i went to hair cuttery to achieve my current color from permanent black and my texture seems the same to me so idk
