if so, how do you do it. Like is the bun on top of your head? How long have you been doing this hairstyle at night?

I do. It's just a bun made with foam in the back of my head using a ponytail holder and a foam bun from Sally's. I make it at the beginning of the week. I put a satin scarf on my head every night for bed. I go again and again. I take it down on Friday, and start all over again on Monday morning, or at least that's the plan. This is my 2nd week trying this method and so far so good. It makes getting ready in the morning a breeze and I haven't noticed any breakage.

sometimes. :look:

in a bun at the back of my head... sometimes makes it hard to sleep  but if i wash my hair at night and don't wanna stay up to dry it, i just wrap a bun around and then a head wrap and go to sleep. yeah it is still damp in the morning but then i just make a "prettier" bun or a puff and go on about my day.

***ETA: i've been doing this for a few weeks now... maybe 3? i don't do it every night though.

yes, i sleep with my hair in a bun. like 4 days a week on average. i keep the bun very high on my head so that i don't rest on it when i sleep. try to avoid putting as much tension as possible. i only put pins in my hair when i sleep in a bun. like 2 or 3 hold it fine.

I sleep with my hair in a bun a lot.

I always sleep in fetal position though, so it doesn't bother me.

Yes, most nights. Doesn't bother me because I tend to sleep on my right side.

I do sleep with a bun, I am a side sleeper so it doesn't bother me. I have been doing this for about 3-4 months with no problem at all.

I do at times my bun does not get affected b/c I sleep on my right or left side. Not on my back.

I do. I just sleep on my sides. I usually try to keep my bun in for a week.

does a baggy method n a bun count

yep it counts.

I've trying a more protective styles. Is it ok to wear a loose bun day and night or is that too much protection.

I do...at least five nights a week most weeks. I never wear a tight bun and never in the same place two nights in a row.

I wear a bun in my sleep almost every single night with the scruni very loose. But now, I sleep on my sides.

I sleep on my side and wear a low bun. During the day I wear a high bun. I have been doing that for a loonng time.

I sometimes do a bun
Most of the time I will braid my hair and secure it at the end, then put a sexy satin scarf on.

I slept w/ a loose bun every night for the past year and I love it..only recently I been wrapping my hair 1x a week for a straight look...but other then that bunning.
