Does anyone know how to make a thick hair gel?

I was wondering knows how to make a thick hair gel. Like a Jam, but if not a regular gel like fantasia ic or something.

Prettydimples on Youtube has a video where she makes a conditioning gel. She mixes a store bought gel with a bunch of other ingredients.
