I use heat once a week, mostly during the cold season. I always condition my hair well. I use ORS Olive Oil Lotion on my hair while wet, and again just before I blowdry. I do allow my hair to air dry about 75% before I start to blowdry. Then I flatiron. Sometimes depending on weather I will completely air dry then flat iron. I do rollersets also. But lately I have been using heat.
I, too, use heat once a week. In the summer, I try to airdry AND use a dryer equally. Winter, strictly blowdry. I always use a leave-in, use a serum when flatironing and have been successful w/this regimen so far.
Yes, I blowdry and hotcurl every 2 weeks. I use IC Fantasia Leave-In w/ Aloe, WGO and grease. I use Biosilk serum or Kera Kare Silken seal spray if I flat iron.
I use heat once every two weeks, blow drying. I use to flat iron on a regular, but reduced it to once every two weeks. I found it has helped my hair alot.
If I'm wearing my hair pressed, then I'll use heat about once every 1.5-2 weeks (blowdry, ceramic flatiron). This regimen has worked out fine for me /images/graemlins/smile.gif
I blowdry my hair once a week in the winter after hot oil and deep conditioning.
I always use a good heat protectant Reken Heat Glide or Lanza Strait Heat protectant.
I blowdry and flatiron once a week. I use a deep conditioner such as QP Intense. Before blowdrying and curling I use QP mango butter,QPsilk and biosilk therapy.

Same here. I use deep conditioners after each washing, followed by a creme leave-in before putting in rollers. I find that air drying my hair doesn't seal the ends well and I end up with much more splitting.
