I detest shrinkage! The whole point in me trying to grow my hair is to enjoy it long. With all the constant shrinkage that I get it stops me from showing the true potential. I like the element of surprise, but not often!

For me shrinkage is the pitts. I'm relaxed and touching bsl but shrinkage takes me back to apl by 6 weeks post .

Same here.........I just Cannot Stand It!!:wallbash: and it's way too much trouble no matter how good I care for it. On a positive note - it does give my hair a fuller look which is the only thing that makes it bearable to me.

I don't see how it's possible to say you like/love (not really the words I'm looking for but they'll have to do) and then say you wish you didn't have any shrinkage. It seems like an oxy moron to me.

The same way it's possible to love your mother, but not the fact that she nags you to go to church. Or how it's possible to love your sister, but not her taste in clothes / men.

I think when someone or something is very close to you / a part of you (like a parent/sibling/your hair), it's possible to have a deep, profound, fierce love for it and loyalty to it, but still be annoyed by a one / few of its characteristics.

I love the deceptiveness of shrinkage...people just can't believe that your hair can be two different lengths, lol!

no no no it's the devil in disguise, RE-COUNT ! WE NEED A
THIRD OPTION lol .... in actuality i really don't mind it that
much i just like to see the progress of my hair growing but
the shrinkage doesn't help me to see any difference in that.
that's why it's the devil in disguise, the hidden boogy man :ohwell:

I hear/see a lot of ladies complaining about shrinkage, saying things like, "shrinkage is the devil", "I hate you shrinkage", and "Why Lord, Whyyy Shrinkage:wallbash:???" because it gives the illusion of having shorter hair for a longer period of time and because it is SOOO resilient but.......I LOOVE it!! I just feel like there are so many benefits from it..for instance, I think with shrinkage it will be easier to get past shoulder length without all of the friction of my ends rubbing up against my collar. Also, its like the best of both worlds..so much versatility!! You can have shoulder length hair one day and mid-back the next. Come on now..who can't appreciate that?? Is there anyone else who appreciates shrinkage?? Or am I just crazy:spinning:???
Hate shrinkage with a passion
