Does anyone else think it's better if you just never see the back of your head?

I do sometimes!

You think your hair looks fine, then you take a self-timer picture for your website/album or look at the back using 2 mirrors... and it looks horredous!

This happens every time I think up a new 'transitioning style' that doesn't involve straightening with heat. I think it looks great, til I see the back!

I'm hoping it only looks crap now because it's frizzed out quite a lot since earlier. I'm hoping when I take one earlier in the day tommorow it'll look better!

Sometimes I play with my hair after washings, and I've noticed that my hair always looks curlier on the sides than the back. Perhaps that's because I can't see the definition as much in the back because my hair is so dark; whereas, I can see it in the front and sides because of light shining on it. I don't know, or maybe it's because I am able to distribute the product more on the front and sides because I can see it???????????? I suppose it's one of those things.

I do not like my crown. (( exhaling.. long story.. )) but once it grows to shoulder length (dry no products), then I'm sure I'll feel better about it :)

Actually I like to see that back my hair because it's the only section of my hair that seems to be growing and that shows the most length.

I think your hair is beautiful! Your back shots always make me want to go out and copy what I see in your album!

Me. the back of my head seems to always look crazy! I think I'm going to start styling and taking care of that section first!

I can see the texture at the bottom of my hair too because it is the longest, but I can't see the texture as much at the top back (like Peachtree said towards the crown--upper part), but if I section out a part of my top back section, I can see that it's curly, but when all my upper back hair is together, I can't see the texture because it all blends in because my hair is dark black (I think lighter hair shows texture better than dark hair). Also the only time I see my hair down is after washing and it's wet and full of conditioner. I've never seen the curls all over and down when dry, so maybe the back curls look different when dry and not coated with conditioner.

Sometimes I get disapointed because I am growing out my layers. Each time I look at the back of my head, I am forced to remember that the crown of my hair is about 6-8 inches shorter than the complete length of my hair. I just wish it were longer because longer = fuller.

Thankyou :)
I don't put the bad photos in the album though...
They're deleted straight off the camera.

My back looks awful. I love my hair until I see the back. Today I am going to see a stylist about my ends. It is growing unevenly. I am going to get it evened up.
