ME!!!! I never learned because I was traumatized by the hours spent sitting on the floor feeling my butt and my legs take turns going numb and getting popped in the head by a brush or comb because I kept turning my head to face the television.

Girl I feel you! This was the reason why I learned how to braid my hair!
I had that same leg numbing sitting on the florr experience. But I want to learn soooo bad. It would really help if I could throw my hair into cornrows, add a phony pony and GO!!!
Everyone else always looks at me like I'm crazy and mised out on something. And all those designs - I would love to be able to have them, without having to pay.
This week I learned how to french, dutch (cornrow) and herringbone braid. Since i am cheap, I rented hairbraiding video cassettes from my public library. I feel empowered now, because I have never known how to braid until now!
my favorite how-to video was "The Gorgeous Braids Video" (i think that is what it is called).
i dont know how to cornrow on anyone elses hair nor mine..but i bought a manniquin head the the braids i put on their look jacked but atleas they are sticking to the head.
