I might try it.
I need to learn how to cornrow better first.

I have done my own weave. It was a curly/wavy weave so somehow it was a bit easier. my cornrows were not neat but you couldn't tell because the hair was curlier, and it was supposed to have body, so it was perfect. With straight hair you want it to look as natural as possible therefore, the braids have to be a bit smaller and closer together.

I did about 5 or 6 cornows and started sewing..I has a blast..I will try to post pics from the vaca if I can find em..

I do! All the time- I do them for friends and family when I'm in the mood too. The curly/ wavy ones are easier to do a full head on cause the volume can hide any mistakes/ bumps

I'm impatient with hair so I leave not more than 4-5 weeks max

I do my own. I braid straight back, about 12 braids, very simple. I wouldnt go more than 2 - 2 1/2 weeks without washing my hair, weave or no weave, but it would last much longer if I wanted it to. It still looks new when I take it out.
