Do you think bobs look good on everyone?

Someone on here said bobs look good on everyone but the cut might need to be a little different for each person. What do you think?

I'm thinking about getting one but I got a funny shaped head lol.

Oh I Absolutely Do! Bobs come in such a variety. Bangs, Side Part, Middle Part, No Part, Asymetric(sp) Razor Cut, Blunt Cut

So very many options. I am a huge fan of an Assortment of Bobs.

My Hair Goal is to have between a Chin Length and Collar Bone Length Full Blunt Cut Bob

Also, wavy bobs, curly, bobs, tousled bobs add even more varieties to the aforementioned possibilities.

I dont think theres any style that looks good on everyone people have different facial structures that would be emphasized by different cuts and lengths.

I think with the Variety of Bobs, affords just about any facial feature and head shape the opportunity to look nice.

My SIL has the biggest head in the USA ...I mean I have not seen one that compares and NO...she does not look good in a bob....and she had a stylist that should have told her that before she cut it that way... that this may not be the best fit for your Globe...but no she just cut what she told her she wanted.....*shrugs* Did I mention "No"

But I agree there are various types of bobs, angled ones, bobs with bangs, etc.....and I am sure there are custom bobs that could be made to accentuate any head even my SIL's

Bobs are great for anyone IMO.
There are SO MANY DIFFERENT types of bobs so that the different types of hair, faces, head shapes etc. will be able to find its perfect match.

I voted 'yes' because it's in my opinion that bobs look good on such a largely and overwhelmingly massive majority of people that it's basically EVERYONE, lol. I can only recall one instance where I was like.....WOW, a bob cut does NOT fit you. But yeah, I think it's one of the near-universally flattering appearance things, like wearing the color black, etc.

I think bobs look good on most people. I had my hair cut in a bob in high school and wore two asymestical (misspelling) bob weaves and I loved it. I also received a lot compliements wearing them.

I have lumps, dumps, hills and valleys in my head and I look fine with a bob. Pics are in my fotki.

They look good on MOST people from what I've seen but not everyone. It would depend on the face shape, the features that they have, and the type of cut they would get.

Just because the person looks "good" doesn't mean they can't look better, they could always grow out the bob to APL, BSL, or whatever and look better that way instead.

I have rarely seen a person that I didn't like a bob on. You have to find the right one for your face as far as shape and length. I had an assymetrical bob in high school that I liked alot and was always getting compliments on. I wasn't that crazy about it untili it started getting below chin length tho.

I think if you have a longer face,like I do, some side swept bangs and subtle layering/feathering around the face looks better

Nah, I don't think so. I've looked at the faces of certain people with long hair and thought "hmmm, a bob wouldn't really suit them and their face". However, I think most would suit a bob, just depends on the styles really.

IMO: Bobs are Just Like the "Little Black Dress" and/or "Pearls". Simply a Classic. They Never go Out of Style.

Bobs have been around 4-eva. The Shape and the Dimension may change, but the Cut is Timeless.

I think theres a bob for everyone... some people just need it past shoulder length lol. not everyone can do shorter hair.

I'm not a fan of bobs, but it seems hair stylists in general must believe they look good on everyone, because EVERY makeover I have ever seen on television involved cutting the victim's hair into a bob.
