Do you go to a salon-ever?

I have a stylist in NY that I went to religiously every week because my hair grew with her. She discouraged me from wanting to do things to my hair that would damage it.

Since becoming a Travel Nurse though, I have learnt to do my own hair. I may go to a Domincan salon in whichever state I am in at the time for the occasional wash and set(no blowout) but that is it(whever I am just plain ole lazy).

I do fly, drive, take the train back to NY to have MY stylist relax my hair when it is time cause I won't have anyone else do it.

But if I ever decide to stop travelling, and go back to NY, I have to admit I will still go to her every week. I hate doing my own hair. It takes too long.

I said i would stop going to the salon because it got to expensive,but my hair needed help. So I went to a new beautician she's fast and does a great job. I plan to only go for retouches and trims and special occasions.
