I had a supplement pj binge and bought up all these pills after searching on this site. I had shedding so I went out and got some garlic pills, among other things. I'm thinking "it's only garlic". Well I looked it up on webmd and one side affect is it can decrease the efficacy of birth control :nono: and increase bleeding !! I called my pharmacist and she said I should be ok taking it with the type of bc pill but then I got my period and  well... it increases bleeding! TMI? Anyway, just be careful please...

Everyone should do their own research before taking anything. Our bodies are all different so what works for some won't work for others. It take more than one positive thing/review to get to me take something and more than one negative review/study to get me to stop taking something. I am glad you took the time to look it up on your own so you can decide for yourself if you really want to take it.

Not me lol I've taken Nioxin, Phyto, Flax, Fish, Borage and MSM but the ffb was all in one pill but now I cut it down to Phyto, MSM, and EA.

I try my best to do research on anything before I purchase it. I don't like to waist my money on something and have it go terribly wrong.

I do a lot of research before I take take any type of vitamins. If you take the wrong kind of vitamins or take to much , there could negative reprecussions to your body.
I always talk to my doctor when taking new vitamins, and he always gives me recommendations on which vitamins to take, and how to properly use them.

I have read prior LHCF posts on those biotin supplements that women on the forum were taking, and I noticed that quite a few women have major bouts of acne because of the supplement.

Please ladies be careful when taking vitamin supplements, consult your doctor first.

I'm almost out of biotin and have decided to give myself a few weeks break from silica and biotin while still maintaining my multi vit and flaxseed and vit c. I think a good break will be good ;) Anna
